Dakwah Islamiyah Indonesia (DDII) Kabupaten Tojo Unauna (Touna),
Sulawesi Tengah, segera melakukan investigasi.
Hasilnya, positif. Misalnya di SD Negeri 16 Ampana, Tim Dewan Dakwah yang dipimpin ketuanya, Ustaz Marwin M, menemukan 20 Injil. Paket Injil itu terdiri 10 Kitab Perjanjian Baru + Amsal & Mazmur dan Perjanjian Baru dalam dua bahasa.
Paket Injil itu dikirimkan The Gideons International yang berkedudukan di Jalan Sulawesi 44B Maesa, Palu, Sulteng, dan diterima salah seorang guru SDN 16 Ampana. Paket dikemas dengan kardus yang bertuliskan Lembaga Alkitab Indonesia.
“Bahkan Paket Injil juga merasuki pesantren, seperti salah satu Pondok Pesantren di Desa Bantuga,” ungkap Marwin.
Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, pada 6 September Dewan Dakwah Touna melaporkan kepada aparat keamanan dan Kementrian Agama setempat.
Laporan ditindaklanjuti dengan penyitaan Injil dari sejumlah titik di beberapa desa di Kecamatan Ampana Tete sehingga gagal beredar lebih lanjut. Kurang lebih 1.665 Kitab Injil hasil sitaan kemudian diamankan Kepolisian Resort Touna.
Setelah ditelusuri, tertangkaplah penyebar Injil tersebut, yakni pria bernama J Edison.
“Setelah dinterogasi oleh Kapolres Touna, tokoh masyarakat, FKUB (Forum Komunikasi Umat Bergama) Touna, Ketua Komda Alkhairaat Touna yang mewakili umat Islam Touna dan kami konfirmasi dengan mendatangkan pendeta, ternyata oknum Edison J ini tidak mengerti bagaimana Kristen itu,” papar Kepala Kantor Wilayah (Kakanwil) Kementerian Agama Sulteng, Abdullah Latopada, sebagaimana dikutip metrosulawesi.com (13/9/2016).

Perbuatan Edison jelas melanggar hukum, yakni menyebarkan agama kepada sasaran yang sudah memeluk agama lain. Terlebih penduduk Sulawesi Tengah, termasuk Kabupaten Touna, sebagian besar adalah muslim (72,36 persen).
Sesuai permintaan Dewan Dakwah dan ormas-ormas Islam Touna lainnya, dalam rembugan pada 9 September 2016 disepakati bahwa kasus peredaran Injil secara ilegal ini dianggap selesai. Syaratnya, pelaku meminta maaf secara lisan dan tertulis.
Tak hanya itu, Edison J juga berjanji jika mengulang perbuatannya lagi dia siap dituntut secara hukum.

Apabila di kemudian hari terjadi hal yang sama, kami siap di proses secara hukum. Kami berterimakasih kepada semua pihak, sehingga suasana tenteram dan damai tetap terjaga.
