Subhanallah Walhamdulillah... Kisah ini saya dapat tanpa sengaja.
Beberapa tahun yang lalu, tepatnya sekitar tahun 1994-an saat saya
berangkat kuliah, saya bertemu dengan orang yang memberikan wejangan

Hari itu
saya terburu-buru berangkat ke tempat kuliah, maklum hari itu saya agak
terlambat padahal hari itu mata kuliah favorit saya. Saat hujan turun
tiba-tiba, saya baru sadar kalau lupa membawa mantel, akhirnya
berteduhlah saya di sudut sebuah warung.
Di tempat
itu saya berkenalan dengan seorang yang sangat baik, dia seorang menantu
kyai pemilik pondok pesantren. Obrolan kami tambah seru saat menginjak
materi rejeki bagi manusia.

Pekerjaan
dia adalah pekerjaan serabutan. Dia tidak memiliki pekerjaan tetap,

Dengan
selalu bersyukur, bahkan saat terkena musibah sekalipun, kenikmatan yang
akan kita terima akan ditambah oleh Allah. Itu janji Allah, bukan
main-main mas, kata orang itu. Janji Allah tentang umatnya yang mau
bersyukur memang sering kita dengar dalam berbagai kotbah atau ceramah
agama.
Jika kita
mau menghitung berapa nikmat yang diberikan Allah pada kita, pasti tidak
akan pernah habis. Itulah gambaran rasa syukur yang harus kita
ungkapkan, tapi terkadang banyak manusia yang lupa mensyukuri nikmat
tersebut.

Berikutnya
jangan sakiti istri kita. Inilah poin yang saya pegang terus sampai
sekarang. Pekerjaan seorang istri adalah pekerjaan terberat dalam
keluarga. Seorang istri harus selalu melayani suami, melahirkan dengan
taruhan nyawa.
Membesarkan
anak dengan susah payah, terkadang rela mengorbankan waktunya agar
anaknya bisa tumbuh sehat dan berbagai pengorbanan yang tak terhitung
saat harus berusaha memenuhi serta melayani kebutuhan suami dan
anak-anaknya. Dengan melihat beratnya tugas sang istri di atas, tegakah
anda menyakiti istri anda?
Menurut
orang yang saya kenal tersebut, banyak tidaknya rejeki yang dia terima
terkadang tergantung pada perlakuannya pada sang istri. Saat dia keluar
rumah mencari sesuap nasi dengan niat membahagiakan istrinya (saat itu
dia belum punya anak), rejeki yang dia terima hari itu pasti banyak.

Sebaliknya
jika saat berangkat mencari nafkah dia sebelumnya menyakiti hati
istrinya, terkadang dia tidak mendapat hasil apapun yang bisa dibawa
pulang.
Kisah di
atas mungkin terkesan dibuat-buat, tetapi saya baru sadar dan merasakan
sendiri saat saya sudah berkeluarga. Apa yang saya alami sama persis
dengan yang dialami orang yang saya kenal beberapa tahun yang lalu
tersebut.
Istri
memang mempunyai peranan sangat besar dalam mendatangkan rejeki bagi
kita. Mungkin doa istri mempunyai kekuatan yang dahsyat bagi sebuah
keluarga. Pesan saya, jangan pernah sedikitpun menyakiti hati istri kita
