bagi islam perceraian pada dasarnya merupakan masalah yang kurang baik. karna islam mengharapkan supaya sesuatu pernikahan itu abadi selamanya hingga salah satu ataupun kedua suami istri wafat.
dalam suatu hadits riwayat abu daud dan juga ibnu majah dan juga disahihkan oleh hakim, nabi bersabda:
