Namun, di atas semua itu. Perasaan kekurangan dan ketidakberdayaan yang
sebenarnya bukan berasal dari ketiadaan materi. Saya tidak berusaha
untuk berkata bijak di sini. Tapi memang, logikanya materi bersifat
konkrit dan mudah habis. Sementara itu, kepemilikan iman di hati akan
senantiasa kekal. Meneguhkan dan menyemangati hidup.
Saat ini, di luar sana. Ada ribuan orang yang rela mati untuk bisa hidup seperti kamu.
Bagaimana cara menimbulkan perasaan bersyukur? Adalah dengan berhenti
mengeluh. Dengan menempatkan diri secara tepat. Karena secara alami,
manusia tidak akan pernah merasa lebih baik dari sesamanya. Untuk itu,
saat banyak nikmat hidup telah direngkuh. Alih-alih menyibukkan diri
dengan selusin rencana pribadi yang duniawi. Coba luangkan waktu untuk

Sabar itu kata sifat. Bukan kata benda yanng terbatas kuantitas dan kualitasnya.

Saya emmang belum mengecek apa makna sabar dalam Kamus Besar Bahasa
Indonesia. Tapi, jika boleh mengutarakan maknanya, buat saya, sabar
adalah kata sifat. Dan setiap kata sifat itu tidak terikat ukuran.
Artinya, tidak ada batasan yang ajeg untk menentukan seberapa besar atau
kecil atau banyak atau sedikit jumlah dan/atau mutunya.
Kata sifat itu relatif. Punya parameter berbeda untuk setiap orang. Kita
memang bisa mengambil suara terbanyak atau kebiasaan publik untuk
memaknai kata sabar. Tapi tetap saja, sabar selalu terkait dengan
kondisi dan situasi. Isu yang diangkat tidak pernah bisa digeneralisasi.
Oleh karenanya, sebagai makhluk yang senantiasa bergerak. Menghadapi
jutaan kemungkinan. Rasanya sangat sombong jika secara pribadi kita
membatasi rasa sabar untuk diri sendiri.
